Pastor Farris Baker - Senior Pastor TFH During the years that Frank Brown has been the worship leader at The Father's House he has grown as well as the congregation in the depth of worship. On numerous occasions we have felt actual break throughs in the spirit that can't be explained in the natural. After being in an atmosphere of freedom of worship, feeling His presence in strength we can't go back.
Frank Brown
I was born in Alameda and raised in Fremont California. I gave my heart to the Lord at an early age of eight. Attended church/Sunday school/youth groups/church camps until my mid-teens; but I never remember being taught how to have a true relationship with God. I only remember being told, “you can do this or you can do that”. I decided I wanted to explore the world and see what it had to offer. I discovered a world full of drugs & alcohol in which I tried and experimented.
In 1974 I met my wife, Rhonda at a small church in Niles Canyon, California. After being out drinking all night I came home and asked my mother to wake me up in the morning to go to church. I walked into church that Sunday morning in February and on the platform was Rhonda playing the bass guitar. I couldn’t believe that this was the same young lady I had once known at the age of 15. She was even more beautiful than I remembered. I knew I had to become reacquainted with her, so I asked her out for pizza that evening. We dated for six months and were married.
After being married for two years we decided to purchase our first home in 1976 and relocate to the San Joaquin Valley in Tracy, California. Tracy is where we lived and had our daughter, Katrina and our son, Joshua both in their mid 20's.
Off and on for 21 years of our marriage we served the Lord. Not until 1995 when I made up my mind that I had to get out of the alcohol & drug scene. I committed my life to the Lord and was baptized with the Holy Spirit. Since that October in 1995 my wife and I have been serving the Lord with all our hearts. I’ve learned what a relationship really meant. I started going hard after Him and fell in love with Him.
Rhonda is my friend, companion, helpmate and also my personal Intercessor. I know that God brought us together and we were meant to be! We have been married 31 years as of 2005. Our desire is to serve God, follow Jesus and go where he leads us. We say YES Lord!
God gave me a gift for music and song at the age of six when my father began teaching me to play the guitar. After the age of six God is fully responsible for teaching me all that I know today in music, voice and songwriting. I love to praise and worship God. His presence is awesome, I enjoy teaching people to play music, and stirring up their musical talents and gifts God has given them.
September 11, 2002 the Lord blessed us with a beautiful granddaughter that loves to dance, pray, sing and worship the Lord. Along with her mother’s guidance she will remain a princess of the King.
My desire and prayer is that God will move me into ministry full-time. I give God all the Glory for what he has brought me from, brought me into and the gifts and talents he has given to me.
