Healing Ministry Training

April 16 & 17, 2004

Anytime hungry people gather together to learn of God's Word so that they can be used is AWESOME!  About thirty people participated in the class and twenty five of them were able to attend all the sessions.  The teaching was in six sessions of teaching and a final session of impartation and healing prayers.  The meetings began on Friday night and Pastor Farris and Connie shared testimonies of healing and the Biblical call for healing in the church for today. The next morning Pastor taught to follow the pattern Jesus gave us and explained the anointing and its purpose.  Connie helped wrap up the day of teaching on hindrances to healing.  The last session was on the impartation and how gifts and anointings are transferred and received.

The presence of God had been growing all day long and at the end the Holy Spirit showed up in a great way.  By then end of the time of impartation most of class was on the floor basking in His presence.  One of the ladies told me how she had been recently received a prophetic word that she would be used in healing and she was realizing that it was coming to pass.  She said she never felt anything like she did when Pastor Farris and Connie laid hands on her.  She described like electricity running through her hands and body.  She also felt heat move through head down through her neck. Another lady testified that as the glory of God came on her her hands, arms, and legs got so heavy that she had to set down.

After the impartation the students began to minister to each others needs for healing.  Many were healed and all left with a greater level of faith to do the stuff of the Kingdom.
